Among the Pacific Rim countries, namely Australia, Japan North and South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, The Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, the projected expenditure increase is 110%, from US$7.5 Bn in 2007 to US$15.8 Bn in 2015.

China and India alone are forecast to grow by more than 390%, an impressive rise from US$3.3 Bn in 2007 to US$16.3 Bn by 2015.

The Asia Pacific Region will therefore account for more than 16% of total World expenditure by 2015, amounting to US$184 Bn, and hence the Region is, and will continue to be, an important market for the Homeland Security industry, a market that simply CANNOT BE IGNORED.
